Estimating Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical estimating services to oilfield operations, refineries, agricultural businesses, and industrial electrical contracting.
  • Coordinate, develop, and review project plans, specs, and estimates.
  • Calculate materials, prices, labor costs, and equipment.
  • Assist Project Managers to ensure projects stay within budget and meet deadlines.
  • Prepare estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
  • Review and recommend best options based on cost and quality.
  • Create written proposals for clients.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors for estimating, scheduling, and resolving issues.
  • Assess product cost effectiveness.
  • Track costs relative to bids during project development.
  • Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Assist with cost monitoring and reporting procedures.


  • 5+ years of Estimating experience, specifically in oilfield and industrial.
  • HS diploma.
  • Valid Class C driver s license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
